THE PEDAL

The concept behind this pedal was born 2 years ago: a friend of us got his calf injured after falling off during a bike ride.
The injury was actually due to the pedal pins slighting on his leg while he was falling. In the light of this we had a though about the idea of relocate the pins placement from the pedal to the sole under the cyclist shoe, so to avoid being a danger to yourself if fell. After several prototypes we made an aluminum profile to match our needs in terms of design and lightness. The resulting product is therefore able to guarantee a safety pedal satisfying the different uses at the same time. The next steps to take are now: set the rubber trims; create slots for the aluminum trims; close all the paperwork for register the patent.
